The Faces of Guatemala

Lan Vwa, a school in Joconal, Guatemala for coffee farmers’ children, offers a Christ-centered education to children of coffee farmers who otherwise might not have the opportunity to attend school. Before Lan Vwa, most of the kids in the village didn’t dream of a life where they could choose a career for themselves. Most thought they would follow in their parents’ footsteps, but Lan Vwa has given them the gift of dreaming of a different future. As you scroll through and read about each child, ask God if he might use their education and talents for His glory. Please pray particularly for each student as they are temporarily participating in distance education due to COVID-19. Most of the students’ parents are uneducated, making it difficult for them to assist their children with their schoolwork.

Here’s a glimpse of 20 children whose lives you change simply by drinking HOPE Coffee.
