This Christmas, our gift to you, our HOPE Partners, is something with an eternal impact. Together, we are providing 30 baskets of food to families in the small Honduran village of Pompoa. These thoughtful food baskets are opening doors for local pastors, Carlos and Angel, to share the hope of the gospel with families who have never heard the good news. Their prayer is that these conversations will one day grow into a thriving church plant in this village.
We are in awe of God and the amazing things He has already done through this project. One couple who received a food basket placed their trust in Jesus Christ! Praise God for our new brother and sister Yadira and Ovando! Help us pray for them as they are discipled and cared for by the local church.
We also invite you to join us in prayer for the hearts of the other families in Pompoa, and for strength, wisdom, and protection for Carlos and Angel as they lovingly serve this community.
Thank you for choosing HOPE Coffee. Your daily cup is doing more than you know—it’s touching lives, opening doors, and spreading the hope of Jesus Christ.

Lan Vwa, a school for the children of coffee farmers in Joconal, Guatemala, exists to educate and empower the children of local coffee farmers. This year, three remarkable young women—Neyli, Mayerlin, and Maydelin—crossed the stage to receive their diplomas, marking the beginning of exciting new journeys. Neyli will continue her studies in law, while Mayerlin and Maydelin are pursuing nursing—each following a path of service and leadership.
The ceremony was filled with joy and celebration. In a beautiful full-circle moment, three Lan Vwa alumni, now teachers themselves, returned to present the diplomas to this year’s graduates. Karina Leiva, one of the school’s directors, shared with HOPE Coffee that “after the ceremony, everyone gathered to share a meal — students, teachers, and families — making it feel more like a big family reunion than anything else.”
That sense of family is what makes Lan Vwa so special. As students and teachers learn and grow together—in both education and faith—they form lifelong bonds rooted in hope and love.
During the ceremony, Armando Leiva delivered an inspiring message drawn from the story of Esther, reminding the graduates that they are deeply loved by Jesus and called to represent their homes and communities with courage and faith.
Join us in praying for Neyli, Mayerlin, and Maydelin—for God’s provision, protection, and boldness as they pursue their careers and shine His light in the world.

HOPE Coffee is a Christian coffee company that is also a missions organization. Our mission is to share the love of Jesus in everything we do. That includes the way we purchase our coffee beans, how we spend our profits and how we serve our customers.
In addition to serving the coffee farmer, HOPE Coffee serves people after our coffee is sold, as well. Profits from HOPE Coffee are invested back into the countries where the coffee was grown. Service projects led by local Honduran and Mexican churches meet physical needs for families like clean water and a safe place to live. The churches are able to minister to the family in their time of need and for years after. The families know that it is all because Jesus loves them. Because of this model, we regularly get to hear about people who choose to follow Christ!
As a HOPE Partner, you will receive regular updates on the impact your coffee is having around the world. HOPE Coffee will ignite a passion for missions in your home, business, church or organization. Your daily cup of coffee can change lives!
Hundreds of Individuals, Churches, and Coffee Shops across the United States are an integral part of our Christian mission, simply by choosing to drink HOPE Coffee. We hope that you will join us!
Did you know that your Compassion Tea purchases help support five medical clinics across rural Africa through CompassioNow? Not only that, but the recipients of medical care also receive the life-saving message of the Gospel. Last year alone, more than 50,000 people received medical care at these clinics!
Here are the clinics your tea purchases help support!
Village of Hope Medical Clinic
This incredible clinic is located in Uganda and provides a refuge for children affected by the terrorist organization, “Lord’s Resistance Army,” in Northern Uganda. Village of Hope provides rehabilitation for the children who were abducted, abused, and orphaned by this horrific tragedy. Because of this rehabilitation, these children can experience peace and hope as they enter adulthood and create a new future for their families.
Mission Medic Air
Based in Zambia, Mission Medic Air (MMA) is a team of healthcare professionals who volunteer their time to fly into rural, isolated regions to provide support for medical clinics and missionary hospitals. These professionals include doctors, surgeons, dentists, eye specialists, and mechanics who repair medical equipment. MMA is often the only organization that can provide medicines to these Zambian clinics.
1000 Hills Community Helpers Clinic
1000 Hills is based in South Africa and provides home based medical care, nutritional feeding programs, counseling, and support groups. They specialize in caring for children and adults suffering from HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Hepatitis, Diabetes, Cancer, and Arthritis.
Passion Center Community Health Network
Passion Center is based in Zomba, Malawi, and this clinic cares for AIDS orphans, child headed households, and the elderly. Over 100 trained caregivers in the community serve these disadvantaged communities by offering basic medical care to 137 villages.
Rwanda Children
In 1994, Rwanda was devastated by a horrific genocide. Rwanda Children opened to restore hope and bring healing to the children in this community. These kids receive love, food, and education each day at this clinic. While the children are healing physically, they are also healing spiritually as they learn about their Savior, Jesus Christ.

Earlier this year, Isidro, a coffee picker in El Canon, Mexico, was hospitalized after fracturing his face in an accident. Pastor Brigido visited him to share the gospel and show him the love of Jesus. Isidro was open to hearing the gospel and shared details about his personal life. He explained that he and his wife Feliz lacked a working kitchen because the roof had collapsed due to rotting wood. Without resources to rebuild, they were doing their best to manage without one.
Pastor Brigido recognized an opportunity to serve. Because of your choice to serve HOPE Coffee, we were able to provide resources for local church members in El Canon to rebuild the kitchen. Speaking in Isidoro and Feliz’s native language, Nahuatl, Pastor Brigido explained that this gift came from the Lord. Moved to tears, Isidro asked “how is it possible that others are interested in helping me?” Both he and his wife described it as a dream come true!
After completing the kitchen, the local church noticed a small room in their home that also needed a new roof. Using recycled materials that Isidro had, the church is currently working on repairing that roof as well. After experiencing God’s love and care, Isidro decided that he wants to hold a celebration service in the small room once it is finished. Pastor Carlos is encouraged and believes Isidro and Feliz are becoming more open to the gospel.
Please pray that Isidro and Feliz will put their trust in Jesus Christ. Their hearts are softening and we are hopeful that they will realize their need for a Savior soon!

You’ll be excited to hear that on April 15th, Pastor Carlos brought water filters to Los Laureles! He shared the gospel with the villagers using imagery of dirty water made clean, which points to Christ washing believers clean of their sin.
We are overjoyed to share that four villagers placed their trust in Jesus Christ! Yenir, Dalia, Senovia, and Norely are now children of God!
Pray for our new brothers and sisters as they grow in their faith and show the love of Jesus to the other villagers. Pray also for improved health in the village now that they have access to clean water.

How does HOPE Coffee identify hurting families who need a new roof and clean water? Who meets with these families and shares the gospel with them?
We want to introduce you to the hands and feet of HOPE Coffee, our National Ministry Leaders! Meet Abelardo, Carlos, and the Leiva family. Abelardo oversees the projects in Mexico, Carlos leads projects in Honduras, and the Leiva family launched schools in Guatemala for the children of coffee farmers.
Very few children in Guatemala can fathom pursuing dreams to become a doctor, a teacher, or a lawyer. 1st – 6th grades are free for children in Guatemala, yet insufficient for most careers. Only wealthy families in Guatemala have access to preschool or high school courses, which are vital for pursuing most careers.
The Leivas family decided to change this! Their school, LanVwa, located in Joconal, Guatemala provides these missing courses for the children of coffee farmers. These children traditionally follow in their parents’ footsteps without considering other options. Now students are receiving the proper education to help them pursue careers of their choice.
Years ago, students new to LanVwa laughed at the thought of becoming a nurse. They told their teachers they could only become farmers. By the end of the program, these students announced that they wanted to become mechanics, doctors, teachers, and lawyers! Two LanVwa graduates even became teachers at LanVwa this year!
Because you choose HOPE Coffee, these children have a choice for their future. Most importantly, these students hear the gospel of Jesus Christ! You can read more about LanVwa here.
Join us in prayer for these students and teachers as they learn about Jesus and pursue their dreams!

In December of 2023, Pastor Juan Carlos and members of his church heard of an elderly woman in their neighborhood named Crescencia who was living in a home without a proper roof, subjecting her to rain and sun as she lay sick in bed. Her adult children, Osminia and Marcos, lived with her. None of them were believers.
HOPE Coffee decided to partner with Pastor Juan Carlos in building a new roof for Crescencia and her family. When Juan Carlos arrived with volunteers from his church, Marcos, Osminia and two of Crescencia’s unbelieving neighbors also offered to help. Throughout the process of replacing the roof, Juan and the team from his church shared the gospel with the group. By the end of the project, Crescencia’s home had a new roof, and five people had new life in Christ, including Crescencia, her children, and both of her neighbors!
This month HOPE Coffee learned that Crescencia recently passed away, and Marcos lost an eye and is struggling with dizziness. However, the same local church continues to show up and show the love of Jesus. They visit Marcos often to bring him food and teach him about Scripture. Osminia visits the church each Sunday and continues to grow in her faith, as well.
Join us in praying for Marcos and Osminia as they grow in their faith! And praise the Lord with us that Crescencia is with her Savior!
