HOPE Coffee is a Direct Trade coffee company.  We purchase our coffee beans through a Direct Trade relationship with farmers in Honduras and Mexico.  To us, Direct Trade Coffee means two things:

1. We consistently pay the farmers above the designated Fair Trade rate for their coffee beans.  Learn more about this Direct Trade relationship, and how it benefits the farmer!
2. We know our farmers and communicate with them regularly throughout the year.  We have built strong, ongoing relationships with them that extend well beyond coffee.  This provides opportunities for us to bless the farmers, as well as their pickers!

In addition to serving the coffee farmer, HOPE Coffee serves people after our coffee is sold, as well.  Profits from HOPE Coffee are invested back into the countries where the coffee was grown. Service projects led by local Honduran and Mexican churches meet physical needs for families like clean water and a safe place to live. The churches are able to minister to the family in their time of need and for years after. The families know that it is all because Jesus loves them.  Because of this model, we regularly get to hear about people who choose to follow Christ!
